Greenwood Boys & Girls Club Celebrate National Kick Butts Day: Being Tobacco- Free

March 20th marks National Kick Butts Day, an annual day of youth being educated about the dangers of peer pressure and tobacco. The event is sponsored by the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids. More than a thousand events are planned across the nation. Greenwood Boys and Girls Club joined in on the celebration.

Synthia Hoover, Director of Greenwood Boys and Girls Club says, "So today we're going to show a movie and it's called ''The Real Truth, the Seductions of Smoking'' and it's going to introduce the children about the fancy lifestyles of smoking, and why you shouldn't smoke. We're making children aware of the behavior and lifestyle changes that tobacco causes.
